Nieuwe HD's de 500 en 750
At the EICMA event in Milan, Italy, Harley-Davidson announced the latest additions to its growing stable of liquid-cooled machines: the Street 750 and Street 500, both of which feature new liquid-cooled Revolution X engines.

Banking on the success of the Dark Custom models in attracting younger riders, Harley-Davidson has packaged the new bikes as additions to the Dark Custom series.
Dubbed the Harley-Davidson Street 750 and Street 500 motorcycles, they comprise the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Boasting all-new liquid-cooled Revolution X™ powertrains and nimble handling, the smaller displacement bikes are aimed at riders in urban environments, and likely those in other worldwide markets which have more stringent displacement caps than here in North America.
Matt Levatich, President and Chief Operating Officer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, gave more insight:
“These are the newest motorcycles to join our Dark Custom lineup, which helped make us the number-one selling brand to young adults in the U.S. for the past five years,” said Levatich. “Both the Street 750 and Street 500 were designed with thousands of hours of input from young adults in cities around the world. They are proof that being customer-led continues to be a core driver of our product development process.”
Urban Qualties
The Street 750 and Street 500 each feature the new Revolution X engine, which Harley says is designed to match the demands of stop-and-go traffic, while delivering instant throttle response to escape city gridlock.
The Motor Company says the Revolution X engine is placed in an all-new chassis that's designed for more agility, along with a super-low seat height, and new suspension. Both of these Dark Customs continue with a minimalist style that serves as an approachable canvas for riders to customize.
